Practical Ways to Design and Develop a Language Curriculum

This 7-week course is designed to enable learners to design and develop a language curriculum to meet the real needs of their target Cambodian learners by combining the most practical principles, approaches, and common concepts of curriculum design and development. Additionally, this course will enhance its learners to the understanding of educational theories and principles, and how to evaluate and select the adaptable and adaptable course books to maximize the benefits to their learners and teachers. Within the course, the learners will acquire how to personalize and contextualize the materials selected for the assigned courses in their curriculum.

Soeung Sopha

Freelance Educator & Curriculum Development Specialist and Trainer

Mr. SOEUNG Sopha is a holder of Master of Arts in Educational Development from Hiroshima University in Japan, and a Master of TESOL from the Institute of Foreign Language of Royal University of Phnom Penh in Cambodia. Also, He has obtained certificates of pedagogy of primary, lower and upper secondary teachers. Mr. SOEUNG Sopha has had more than 10-year experience in teaching, training and curriculum development. Currently, Mr. Sopha is working in Westline Education Group Co., Ltd. as an Academic Manager of Adult English Program. His main responsibilities are developing the curriculum and maintaining the quality of teaching and learning of the Adult English Program.

By the end of this 56-hour training course, the learners will be able:
