Monitoring and Evaluation

Monitoring and evaluation are critical for building a strong, global evidence base. At the global level, it is a tool for identifying and documenting successful programs and approaches and tracking progress toward common indicators across related projects. Monitoring and evaluation are separate practices dedicated to the assessment of your NGO’s overall performance. Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) are important for a development agency to assess that the program/project is achieving set targets. Monitoring and Evaluation will help the development of the project to easily understand whether strategic changes need to be made and act accordingly. More importantly, M&E is the donor's requirement that every development program/project need to establish an effective monitoring and evaluation system to assess whether that NGO is a reliable partner.
