Childcare Development Methodology (Khmer & English Teaching)
This course is intended to provide child care professionals with the basic principles of child growth and development. You will also learn how these principles affect children’s learning, and best practices associated with guiding children’s behaviors towards appropriate expectations, and methods associated with addressing challenging behaviors. Participants will understand the role of Developmentally Appropriate Practice in the design of quality care environments. It also studies the assessment and planning for individual needs for all kids.

Mrs. Uk Sonyta is the Deputy Academic Director of Westline Education Group. She has had over Thirteen-year experience with private schools and one international NGO(CCF) in managing schools, teaching, training, designing curriculum, developing teaching materials, Human resources management, Educational Development, and Staff Professional Development and organizing educational research, a workshop, seminar, and conference. Therefore; She has been involving in managing, teaching, and learning quality improvement for over 10 years. She holds a Master's Degree in Educational Administration and Leadership. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Bachelor's degree in teaching English as a second language, and other degrees in the field related to education. She is also TESOL Certified.

Ms. Pel Makara is the Managing Director of CAM IDEAL Child Care Center. She has worked in the kindergarten field for 20 years. She has been training teachers, developing school curriculum, and creating teaching/learning aids for pre-school and kindergarten levels. She participated in many professional development workshops locally and overseas. She graduated with a Master's Degree in Art in English.
