Pel Makara

Managing Director of CAM IDEAL Child Care Center

Ms. Pel Makara is the Managing Director of CAM IDEAL Child Care Center. She has worked in the kindergarten field for 20 years.  She has been training teachers, developing school curriculum, and creating teaching/learning aids for pre-school and kindergarten levels. She participated in many professional development workshops locally and overseas. She graduated with a Master's Degree in Art in English.

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

  • Design and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with kindergarten learning standards.
  • Implement developmentally appropriate teaching strategies; play-based learning, technology integrated learning, etc.
  • Craft a positive and well-managed classroom environment that fosters student engagement, social-emotional development, and effective learning.
  • Utilize formative assessments to monitor student progress, identify learning needs, and adapt instruction accordingly.
  • Create a supportive learning community for young children.

This course is for Preservice Teachers, New/Experienced Kindergarten Teachers, Teacher's Aides/Assistants, and anyone who wants to start a career in Kindergarten Teaching.
